This sweet vintage shirt is a keepsake from Camp Merrybrook in LaSalle County, Illinois. In 1956 the camp was established at the site of what used to be Camp Kiwanis-on-the-Fox, which was named for the nearby Fox River. For several decades, Camp Merrybrook served as the area's local Girl Scout camp, although it was later renamed to Camp River Trails in 1991.
