This awesome tee is from the 1986 edition of the World Championsip Triathlon in Nice, France. This scenic competition became Ironman France in 2005, after it was officially added to the World Triathlon Corporation's Ironman series of international races. The Triathlon in Nice first began in 1982, which means this shirt is from its early days. This tee lists some of the sponsors for the 1986 edition, including Pan Am, Timex and Hewlett Packard.
