This awesome tee promotes the Australian rock band Midnight Oil and their album Diesel and Dust. This concept album  centered on issues that were near and dear to the band, including environmental causes and the struggles of Indigenous Australians. Diesel and Dust was released in 1987, and it took inspiration from the Blackfella/Whitefella Tour that took place in 1986. This free concert tour brought music to remote indigenous communities and fetured Midnight Oil and fellow Australian musical acts the Warumpi Band and Gondwanaland.

This tee features the cover image from the album Diesel and Dust, which depicts the Burra Homestead, a remote farmhouse in the town of Burra, Australia. The photographwas taken by Ken Duncan, and it won the award for Best Cover Art at the 1988 Australian Recording Industry Association Awards. The band chose the image because they felt that the stark photograph perfectly captured the feel of the Australian bush, which they were trying to capture with the album.
