This amazing vintage tee is for the British heavy metal band Grim Reaper, and it features the same awesome graphic that was designed by Garry Sharpe-Young, for the cover of the band's debut album, See You in Hell. This record was released in 1983 off the independent label, Ebony Records. The group were signed to Ebony thanks to lead vocalist Steve Grimmett, who was also the unofficial vocalist of the band Chateaux, a group that was already signed with the label. While working with them, Grimmett handed over Grim Reaper's demo tape and a deal was struck.

The band released two other albums throughout the 80s that both enjoyed moderate success. Along with See You in Hell, 1985's Fear No Evil and 1987's Rock You to Hell, both were enjoyed by international audiences. However, the band's popularity waned as their melodic metal sound fell out of favor towards the end of the decade. Still, their music gained some notoriety in the 90s, after it was featured on the popular cartoon Beavis and Butt-Head.
