This sweet t-shirt features a graphic honoring a classic Hawaiian tune, "Honolulu City Lights". The double-sided tee was inspired by the song that was written by native musician Keola Beamer and first performed by him and his brother, Kapono. "Honolulu City Lights" was the title track of a 1978 album released by Paradise Productions, that went on to become the best-selling Hawaiian album of all time. This tee features artwork from Alec Baird, and it was made by Crazy Shirts, an influential t-shirt manufacturer that originated as just a small t-shirt shop in Waikiki's International Market Place. Crazy Shirts founder, Rick Ralston actively commissioned the design to pay tribute to the monumental song, and to thank them for creating one of the most beloved pieces of contemporary Hawaiian music, Ralston gifted the first prints of the design to the Beamer brothers and Paradise Productions owner, Tom Moffatt.
