This amazing graphic tee is a souvenir from the multi-venue benefit concert Live Aid. The concert was held simultaneously in London, UK and Philadelphia, PA on July 13 1985. This benefit concert for famine relief in Ethiopia, saw over 100,000+ people attend both venues and nearly 40% of the world's population tune into the live broadcast of the shows.

Live Aid was the most ambitious international live television event ever attempted at the time. Between the two locations, the concert ran continuously for over 16 hours. The show in Wembley Stadium, London included performances by Elvis Costello, Sting, U2, Queen, David Bowie, Elton John, The Who, and Paul McCartney. Meanwhile the Philadelphia show, held at John F. Kennedy Stadium saw performances by Run-DMC, The Beach Boys, Madonna, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Neil Young, The Cars. Eric Clapton, Pattie LaBelle, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Four Tops, Hall & Oates, Bob Dylan, and Mick Jagger.

Phil Collins was the MVP of Live Aid, playing live at both Wembley and JFK. He traveled via two helicopters and an airplane to get from London to Philadelphia. On his trans-Atlantic flight, Collins ran into Cher who was unaware of the event and chose to join him in Philadelphia for the finale performance of "We Are the World."
