This awesome vintage tee is a keepsake from the 1982 Over the Line World Championships. This beloved bat-and-ball tournament is a tradition held by the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club in San Diego, California. As early as the 1950s, three person teams have gathered on Fiesta Island to participate in the seaside tournament, and the competition is considered a prominent event for the local community. 

Crowds of more than 60,000 spectators have converged to watch the OMBAC championship, although the tournament is somewhat notorious for being geared towards a more adult crowd. This is largely thanks to raunchy team names and slogans like "beer, babes, and bats on the beach".
