This awesome ringer commemorates the 2nd annual Palos Verdes Library 10K run, an event designed to raise funds for the nationally recognized Palos Verdes Library System in Southern California. The independent library district is responsible for serving all of the cities located throughout the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

This shirt was for the 1980 run, and the back lists sponsors that included Notary International, Phidippides Shoes, Miller's Outpost, and Buffums department stores. This tee also includes front and back graphics drawn by the Pulitzer Prize-winning political cartoonist Paul Conrad. Conrad designed the poster art for both the first and second annual editions of the race, and the images on this tee were drawn while he was working as the chief editorial cartoonist for the Los Angeles Times.
