This vintage tee promotes Papillon Helicopters a helicopter tour company that once offered breathtaking aerial views of the Hawaiian Islands. Papillon once prided themselves on providing their customers up close views of Hawaii's gorgeous natural landscapes, but sadly the company went out of business in the mid 90s, when new safety regulations required them to stay at least 1500 feet away from any land formations. This shirt honors the now defunct business, and it was made by Crazy Shirts, another Hawaii-based company that has a long history of supporting Hawaiian culture and local businesses.
