This great vintage tee pays tribute to the popular band, R.E.M. This alternative rock band was formed in the 80s by University of Georgia students Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Michael Stipe. They began gaining significant notoriety towards the end of the decade, after the release of their album Green and its eleven month-long promotional tour.

After the band took a small hiatus, R.E.M. flourished in the alternative rock scene of the 1990s. Their highest charting single, "Losing my Religion" was released in 1991 off their album Out of Time. This shirt is copyright 1995, which was the year after the band released Out of Time's follow up, Monster. This album continued the band's success and featured singles such as "Tongue" and "What's the Frequency, Kenneth?"
