This awesome raglan concert tee commemorates the 1981 Texxas World Music Festival. Also known as the Texxas Jam, this summer concert was held at the Astrodome in Houston, and featured REO Speedwagon and Heart as its headlining acts. Other bands that performed included Foghat, Blue Oyster Cult, and The Rockets.

This was the third year that the festival was held, and the event was originally created by Louis Messina, who was the promoter of Pace Concerts in Houston. Messina was recruited by David Krebs, a music manager who wanted to recreate the California Jam that was held in Ontario, California, but he needed someone familiar with the Texas area. Over the years the Texxas Jam has featured a number of notable artists, such as Aerosmith, Van Halen, Journey, Steve Miller, Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Cheap Trick, and the Eagles.

Tag says extra large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large. There is some light bleed throughout, see pics.
