This awesome tee comes in a sealed package from Comic Images, and it showcases the beloved Marvel Comics character Wolverine. Characterized by his gruff demeanor and adamantium claws, Wolverine first appeared during the Bronze Age of Comic Books in an issue of The Incredible Hulk. From there he was added to a revamped version of the X-Men, where he quickly became a fan favorite. It turned out, Wolverine was one of several brooding antihero characters that managed to resonate with comic book fans in the wake of the Vietnam War.  

This shirt features a sweet cover image drawn by Marc Silvestri, the eventual CEO of Image Comics. The illustration was used for the cover of Uncanny X-Men #234, and it shows Wolverine infected by race of parasitic, insectoid aliens known as The Brood. While Silvestri provided the pencils for this issue, the story was written by the legendary Chris Claremont, who was integral to making Uncanny X-Men one of the most successful properties in comic book history.
