This humorous vintage tee features Brak from Space Ghost and it says "My Monkey Ate My Homework". In the original Space Ghost cartoon from the 1960s, Brak was one of Space Ghost's formidable villains and a member of the Council of Doom. However, this shirt was made for the 1994 reboot that re-imagined the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon as a comedic late night talk show. Dubbed Space Ghost Coast to Coast, this version of the series portrayed Brak as a lovably dim-witted and often absurd character, who was no real threat to Space Ghost. It's apparently explained that Brak's sudden drop in intelligence was caused by brain damage sustained in an episode of the original series.

Space Ghost Coast to Coast aired on Cartoon Network until 2001, when it was moved to Adult Swim. The series was actually the first show to be produced by Williams Street Productions, the company responsible for launching Adult Swim, and several other future Adult Swim programs were given stealth premieres on the show. This included series like Harvey Birdman Attorney at law, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Brak's own series aptly titled The Brak Show.
