This shirt features Bullwinkle, the lovable animated moose from The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends. This shirt was made in the 90s for a Taco Bell promotional campaign that featured Rocky and Bullwinkle, and the back says, "greetings taco lovers". In 1993 the fast food chain began airing a series of commercials starring the two characters. Rocky and Bullwinkle were created by Jay Ward Productions and their series originally aired from 1959 until 1964. The hope was that Taco Bell could capitalize off nostalgia and retro trends to appeal to both older and younger customers.
