This wonderful shirt celebrates the 50th anniversary of Fantasia, and it features a sweet all over print highlighting some of the film's most memorable segments. Released in 1940, Fantasia was an animated musical anthology from the Walt Disney Company and it featured classical compositions like The Nutcracker Suite, The Rite of Spring, and Night on Bald Mountain. This tee showcases one of the dancing hippos from the Dance of the Hours, cherubs and a baby pegasus from The Pastoral Symphony, and Mickey Mouse as he appears in what is arguably the film's most famous segment, The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Around the late 30s, Mickey had begun to take a back seat to newer characters like Donald Duck and Goofy. So in a bid to boost Mickey's popularity Walt Disney chose to create a new, epic animated short starring the character. This became the basis for The Sorcerer's Apprentice, and soon there were talks to expand the short into a full feature-length film full of animated segments set to classical music.
