This sweet vintage tee features Heckle & Jeckle, a pair of cartoon magpies that was created by Paul Terry's Terrytoons animation studios. The duo used to be the titular stars of The Heckle and Jeckle Cartoon Show that aired Saturday mornings on CBS throughout the 50s and 60s. The two birds were featured alongside other classic Terrytoons characters like Dinky Duck, Gandy Goose, and Mighty Mouse. Heckle & Jeckle were then briefly brought back to television in 1979, through a new CBS series called The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse and Heckle & Jeckle.

Although Heckle & Jeckle's television career ended in the 80s, the pair is still remembered fondly by fans. The duo's humorous antics have inspired a variety of licensed merchandise that ranges from plush toys to home decor.
