This delightful shirt celebrates the holiday classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Based on the book written by Dr. Seuss, this beloved holiday story has had multiple adaptations over the years, but this tee pays tribute to the 1966 animated special directed by Looney Tunes legend, Chuck Jones. The cartoon gave a faithful retelling of the classic story, in which the Grinch attempts to ruin the Christmas celebrations of the residents of Whoville.

The cartoon featured the voice talent of horror icon, Boris Karloff, who is often remembered for his portrayal of the monster in the 1931 film Frankenstein. The special also gave birth to the song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" performed by Thurl Ravenscroft, which has since become a beloved Christmas staple.
