This sweet shirt pays tribute to Mystery Science Theater 3000, a sci-fi comedy series that originated on Minnesota's KTMA-TV during the late 80s. MST3K showcased old B movies like Ring of Terror, It Conquered the World, and Teenage Caveman, and added humorous commentary provided by a human host and his robot companions. For the show's first four and a half seasons the host was portrayed by series creator Joel Hodgson, but this tee features his successor, Mike Nelson, who also made recurring appearances during the earlier seasons. Before taking over as the host, Nelson also worked as the show's head writer.

This shirt references the movie sign, which was used to indicate when the host and the bots were required to enter the titular Mystery Science Theater, where there were subjected to the various B movies. "We've got movie sign", became a repeated phrase on the show, and Hodgson later revealed that the expression was inspired by the worm sign from Dune.

Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There's some light discoloration, see pics.
