This awesome tee is for the video game NBA Jam, and more specifically for the second release in the NBA Jam series, NBA Jam Tournament Edition. This 1994 update featured a tournament mode and also introduced more player attributes and player substitutions. Just like the original, it was developed by Midway Games Inc. and made available for arcade, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, and Game Gear. Additionally the game was also playable on the Sega Saturn, 32X, Playstation, and Atari Jaguar.

NBA Jam was one of the first games to feature licensed NBA teams and players, and its debut in the 90s coincided with one of the league's most popular eras. Players also loved the game's over the top mechanics, which allowed them to pull off moves that defied normal human capabilities.
