This awesome tee is for the alternative rock band, Shudder to Think. Based out of Washington D.C., this tee pays tribute to their 1989 record Medusa Seven, which featured the singles "Vacation Brain" and "Boys Don't Mind Noise". This shirt features the cover art for the record which was a rendering of The Head of Medusa by the Baroque painter Peter Paul Reubens.
Medusa Seven was released during the early days of the band, around the time that they first began developing the post-hardcore style that they became known for. During this time, their lineup consisted of Stuart Hill, Mike Russell, Chris Biando, and Chris Matthews, and it wasn't long after the record was released that the band was signed to the D.C. label Dischord Records, which was founded by Minor Threat members Ian MacKaye and Jeff Nelson. After signing with Dischord the group's influence continued to grow as they toured with bands like Fugazi and Smashing Pumpkins.
Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There's some discoloration on the front and a small hole on the back, see pics.
