This amazing all over print tee pays tribute to the popular Seattle grunge band, Soundgarden. The front of the shirt shows off a distorted photograph of the band in honor of their fourth studio album, Superunknown. The cover art for the album, featured another distorted photo titled, "Screaming Elf" which was taken by Kevin Westenberg. Superunknown was a critical and commercial success that also served as their breakthrough album. Peaking at the number one spot on the Billboard 200, the album managed to sell 310,000 copies in just its opening week.

Since its release, Superunknown has been certified six times platinum, and many consider it to be among the seminal grunge albums of the 90s. It featured the singles "The Day I Tried to Live", "My Wave", "Fell on Black Days", and two of the band's biggest mainstream hits, "Black Hole Sun" and "Spoonman" which received Grammy Awards for Best Hard Rock and Best Metal Performance respectively. The album is often interpreted to be about the struggles of substance abuse and depression, and lead vocalist Chris Cornell admitted he was heavily inspired by Sylvia Plath at the time.
