This awesome shirt promotes Mother's Cookies, and it specifically celebrates their Zoo Pals Animal Cookies. Mother's was first started back in 1914, when a man named Noah Wheatley opened a small bakery in Oakland, California. Wheatley's one man operation began on May 9th 1914, which was the same day that President Woodrow Wilson declared the first national Mother's Day.
Over time, Mother's grew significantly and at one point they were part of the third largest cookie maker in the US, just after Keebler and Nabisco. Although the company went bankrupt in 2008, Kellogg's revived the Mother's name and brought the brand back to west coast grocery stores.
Those who grew up with Mother's are likely to remember classics like their Taffy Sandwich Cookies and Oatmeal Iced Cookies. Meanwhile this tee's colorful graphic captures the whimsical feel of their Circus Animal Cookies.
Fits like a modern unisex adult XXL or 2XL. There is a small hole in the right sleeve and a spot on the left shoulder when wearing, see pics.
