This amazing vintage vest was made in the 60s from one of Levi's classic trucker style denim jackets. To make this vest even cooler, it features the company's famous red tab tag, and it was made before they made the decision to switch from the "Big E" to a lowercase "e" on their label.

The denim on this vest has been beautifully distressed to give it a nice worn, rock n roll vibe. It's also been personalized with two patches, one on the front of a bald eagle with the American flag, and another on the back of an eagle with the words California. These patriotic patches suggest that this vest could have very likely been an early battle jacket belonging to a soldier in the US military. Soldiers were some of the very first people to craft battle jackets, before the practice took off among other subcultural groups like bikers, punks, and metalheads.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large or size 44. The waist measures 18.5 inches. The sleeves have been cut off and the denim is distressed.
