This amazing vintage tee celebrates the southern rock legend, Charlie Daniels. Daniels started his music career back in the 50s and, by the 70s, he had formed his backing band. The Charlie Daniels Band is perhaps best known for their chart topping single, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," but some of their other hits include, "Long Haired Country Boy," "Uneasy Rider," and "In America."

Daniels was an extremely skilled musician on several instruments including the guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and of course, vocals. He began his music career playing with bands of all genres, writing music, and performing as a session musician. The song, "It Hurts Me" which was most famously performed by Elvis Presley, was co-written by Daniels. He also appears as a session player on Bob Dylan's 1969 album Nashville Skyline and Ringo Starr's 1970 album Beaucoups of Blues.

Daniels' career really took off in 1970 when he released his self-titled debut album and he formed his band shortly after. This album laid the foundations for southern rock and his following albums, like Fire on the Mountain and Nightrider, secured the Charlie Daniels Band's legacy as southern rock icons. The band's most successful album to date was Million Mile Reflections, which included the track "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," that would win Daniels the Grammy Award for Best Vocal Performance.
