This awesome rib knit t-shirt was made back in the 70s to celebrate the British rock band Slade and their album Alive! This 1972 record was the group's first live album and also their first release to make it onto the charts in both the US and the UK. The album was recorded during performances at London's Command Theatre Studio, and many music fans consider it one of the greatest live albums ever recorded.
Slade was a prominent band during the glam rock era of the 1970s, and they were a major influence on a myriad of other groups, including Kiss, The Clash, Twisted Sister, the Ramones, Motley Crue, and Def Leppard. They were also the original performers of the rock and roll anthem "Cum On Feel the Noize", which later became a hit single for Quiet Riot.
In terms of singles sales, Slade was one of the most successful British bands of the 1970s. Their best-selling single was "Merry Xmas Everbody" and it sold more than a million copies.
The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern women's adult extra small. This shirt is rib knit and stretchy. There is light discoloration throughout, see pics.
