This vintage jersey was specially made for the Carson Valley Slow Pitch Softball league circa 1970s. Features classic pinstripe sleeves, double sided print, and a cool polyester/nylon blend. It's held up amazingly throughout the years and comes with a rich history.
The league was run by Wayne Emerson Brown and John Manke of Carson Valley, Nevada. Brown owned Wayne's Glass Service and was an avid supporter of local sports programs. Before becoming an established businessman in the community, Brown was a military veteran from the 101st Airborne and played baseball in the Midnight Sun League. In 1957, he played for the Mountain View Merchants as a semi-pro player alongside Joe Carbonero and the Ballardi brothers.
