This awesome vintage tee features Adidas's famous three stripe trefoil logo on the front and back. Adidas first started using the three stripe logo in the 50s when founder Adi Dassler bought the rights to the design. He purchased the stripes from failing Finnish shoe brand, Karhu, for two bottles of whiskey and the equivalent of 1600 euros. Adidas introduced the trefoil design sometime afterward and they incorporated the stripes into this new logo. The three leaves on the trefoil represent the three continents where Adidas products were sold at the time; North America, Asia, and Europe.
Fits like a modern unisex youth extra large. Light spots on the front, see pics.
