This cool raglan concert tee is for the band Aerosmith, and it was made in honor of the group's Back in the Saddle Tour, which lasted from 1984 until 1985. "Back in the Saddle" was first used as the title of the opening track on the band's 1976 album Rocks, but it also made for the perfect name for their comeback tour. Aerosmith experienced considerable success in the 70s, but by the early 80s the band was suffering from internal conflicts and substance abuse issues, which eventually led to the departure of Joe Perry and Brad Whitford.
The pair's return was celebrated by the Back in the Saddle Tour, which kicked off Aerosmith's steady rise back to mainstream success. Their popularity grew throughout the 80s thanks to the reunion tour, their collaboration with Run D.M.C., and some trips to rehab. This all culminated in 1987, when they released their best-selling album in over a decade, Permanent Vacation.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. The sleeves have been cut.
