This vintage tee is dedicated rock singer-songwriter Elton John and his 1988 album Reg Strikes Back. It's truly stood the test of time and ready for many more years of love and wear. Features big eye-catching graphics and soft poly cotton for that old school look and feel.
Red Strikes Back was Elton John's self-proclaimed comeback album and his unique way of fighting off bad press. The name Reg in the title refers to John's birth name Reginald Kenneth Dwight. This was the first album he recorded and released after undergoing throat surgery the year prior.
In true comeback style, Elton John also launched an epic tour to promote the album, which kicked off at the AIDS benefit at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. The US leg of the tour then ended with a performance at Madison Square Garden and John didn't stop there, going on to record his follow-up album Sleeping With the Past.
