This awesome vintage ringer celebrates the beloved pro wrestler, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, also known as Hot Rod. Piper was an iconic heel, who was known for his quick temper and excellent speaking skills. In fact, Piper had such a natural talent for talking that the World Wrestling Federation granted him his own interview segment titled "Piper's Pit".

This shirt was made in the 80s, during Piper's early days with the WWF. During this era, the wrestler's storyline involved a major feud with franchise star Hulk Hogan, and this eventually led to the pair headlining the inaugural WrestleMania, alongside Mr. T and Paul Orndoff. 

Piper became one of the most celebrated heels in pro wrestling history, but he also experienced success outside the ring. In the 80s, he began a Hollywood acting career and starred in two cult classic films, Hell Comes to Frogtown and John Carpenter's They Live.
