This sweet vintage wrestling t-shirt was made for Jake "The Snake" Roberts, a former wrestler for the WWF. This shirt pays tribute to Roberts' signature move the DDT, and it features a portrait of him and his pet python, Damien. The DDT used to be Roberts' finishing move, and he is often credited with inventing it. While there's never been confirmation for what the letters DDT stand for, several rumors guess that one of the Ds stood for Damien, and some have suggested it stood for "Damien's Dinner Time".
Roberts originally adopted the nickname "The Snake" because it suggested an heir of unpredictability and untrustworthiness. After he joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1986, snakes became a major part of his pro persona. Damien the Burmese python was the one most often featured during matches, but Roberts also used a reticulated python, a cobra, and sometimes an albino Burmese python. It also became customary for the wrestler to place a snake atop his defeated opponent after executing the DDT.
The tag says extra large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large. There are light spots on the front, see pics.
