This awesome vintage shirt is for British singer Paul Young from his The Nine Go Mad with Davy Crockett World Tour which took place in 1985. The tour took place the same year as Young's second album, The Secret of Association, was released. The album included the hit singles "I'm Gonna Tear Your Playhouse Down" and "Everything Must Change". It also featured the biggest world wide hit of Young's career "Every Time You Go Away", which was a cover of a Hall & Oates song from their album Voices.
Young began his solo career in 1982 after he was signed by Columbia Records. His first two singles gained little attention, but Young's third release, a cover of the Marvin Gaye song "Wherever I Lay My Hat" made it to the top of the UK singles chart. The next single "Come Back and Stay" reached number four while a re-release of his previous single "Love of the Common People" made it to the number two spot, partially thanks to its inclusion in the John Hughes film Sixteen Candles.
