This vintage tee is all about Pig pride and appears to be a reclaiming of the derogatory term given to cops and law enforcement. Some have embraced the term and given it new life as the acronym P.I.G. short for Pride, Integrity, and Guts- displaying the phrase on pins, magnets, stickers, and t-shirts like this one.

Over the years, law enforcement has been dubbed a number of monikers like the fuzz, five-0, and popo. Referring to cops as "pigs" is most notably traced back to the 60s when it was used amongst anti-war protesters and The Black Panther Party, although its uses in slightly different contexts can be traced back even further. Simply put, the term "pig" applied to a person has pretty much always been derogatory and implies a level of unpleasantness in said person.
