This super soft sleeveless sweatshirt was made to promote Rambo: First Blood Part II, the second film in the Rambo franchise. This sequel premiered in 1985 and it saw beloved action star, Sylvester Stallone reprise his role as Vietnam War veteran John Rambo. Stallone also helped to co-write the film, alongside director George P. Cosmatos. The cast also featured Charles Napier, Julia Nickson, Steven Berkoff, and Richard Crenna reprising his role as Colonel Sam Trautman.

Despite receiving mixed reviews, Rambo: First Blood Part II was a massive blockbuster that managed to be the second highest-grossing film of the year at the domestic box office, right after Back to the Future. It also remains the most often referenced film of the Rambo franchise, with countless parodies in pop culture, one of the most notable being the spoof movie Hot Shots! Part Deux.
