This amazing double-sided tee commemorates the seventh studio album from the English rock band The Cure. Titled Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me this album was released in 1987, and it played a major hand in helping the Cure to reach the American mainstream. This was the band's first album to breach the top 40 of the Billboard 200, and it featured the popular US single "Just Like Heaven".   

The Cure emerged out of West Sussex during the late 1970s, and was a part of the post-punk and new wave movements that had sprung up around the UK at that time. The Cure's early work, particularly albums like Seventeen Seconds and Faith, were integral in helping to shape the genre of gothic rock and its surrounding subculture. This t-shirt features a portrait of Robert Smith, lead vocalist and sole consistent member of the band, who became a major goth icon thanks to his distinctive fashion and stage presence. 

By the time Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me was released, the group had moved away from their gothic roots and towards a more pop oriented sound, but their commercial success only continued to increase. After Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me, the band released Disintegration, which sold over three million copies and Wish, which included one of their biggest hit singles, "Friday I'm in Love".
