This epic concert tee marks The Police's 1983 Synchronicity tour in North America. It's aged really well and ready for many more years of love and wear. In true eighties style it's loaded with amazing graphics, soft poly cotton, and the classic sleeveless muscle tee fit.
The Police's 1983 Tour promoted their fifth and final album release called Synchronicity. It's the new wave band's most popular release, featuring catchy singles like "Every breath You Take", "King of Pain", and "Wrapped Around Your Finger".
Much of the material for Synchronicity, including the name itself, was inspired by the parapsychology book by Arthur Koestler, The Roots of Coincidence. The album rose to #1 on both the US and UK charts, and went on to win Grammy awards for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals; Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals; and Song of the Year with "Every Breath You Take", even beating out Michael Jackson's smash hit "Billie Jean".
This was the height of the Police's career as Rolling Stone was quoted saying they were "The first British New Wave act to break through in America on a grand scale and possibly the biggest band in the world."
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. Repair near the arm, see pics. Sleeveless muscle tee, double sided print.
