This amazing, deadstock t-shirt features a vibrant, all over print and a large black and white portrait of reggae pioneer Bob Marley. The shirt features lyrics from his song "Positive Vibration" that read, "just can't live that negative way... make way for the positive day." Marley is considered to be one of the most prolific and best selling artists of all time.

Bob Marley got his musical start in the 60s with his band the Teenagers, later renamed to the Wailers. After a short stint living in Delaware with his wife, Rita, Marley converted from Catholicism to Rastafari. He's since become a symbol of the Rastafari religion and his music was imbued with his spirituality.

The Wailers gained international attention in the early 70s with their album Catch a Fire. This was the first time a reggae band was given access to state of the art recording equipment on par with what their rock n' roll counterparts were using. The band split not long after but Marley continued to perform as Bob Marley & The Wailers with his new backing band.

Bob Marley found solo success with the single "No Woman, No Cry" from the Live! album followed by another successful album Rastaman Vibration, which included the song "Positive Vibration." In 1976, the same year Rastaman Vibration was released, an attempt was made on Marley's life before a politically charged music festival in Jamaica. Both Marley's manager and Rita Marley sustained serious injuries but Bob Marley, with minor injuries, went on to perform in the festival two days later. The following year, Marley was diagnosed with melanoma under his toenail which he chose not to amputate. He played his last concert in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1980 and died the following year at the age of 36. He was given a state funeral in Jamaica and posthumously honored by the Jamaican government with the Order of Merit.

Although he died young, Bob Marley left a profound impact on music and continues to influence artists today. Rolling Stone lists him as no. 11 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. He's also been awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and induction into the BET Walk of Fame. Marley also remains a symbol for the legalization of marijuana, which is important to the Rastafari belief system.
