This incredible 90s tee celebrates the pop culture icon, Dennis Rodman. Known for both his phenomenal basketball skills and bold fashion sense, this tee was made as a part of Rodman's own apparel line, Blue Hair, which was aptly named after one of his favorite forms of self expression.  

Dennis Rodman won his first NBA championship in 1989 with the Detroit Pistons, but his notoriety skyrocketed after his 1996 NBA Finals victory with the Chicago Bulls. Rodman's rebound dominance was pivotal in helping the Bulls win the series, and later that year he created one of the decade's most outrageous pop culture moments, while promoting his autobiography Bad As I Wanna Be. In one of his most notorious antics, Rodman announced that he was marrying himself in full bridal glam, and the stunt perfectly illustrated the NBA superstar's fearless, in-your-face attitude.

This attitude was reflected in Rodman's everyday style, which included tattoos, piercings, and his signature colorfully dyed hair. This tee showcases just a few of his iconic dye jobs, including one from the 1995 NBA playoffs, which featured the red AIDS ribbon. At the time, Rodman stated he wanted to bring attention to the disease, a bold move considering the stigma still surrounding AIDS in the mid 90s. It just served as another example of the provocative attitude that made Rodman so endearing to fans.
