This awesome all over print tee celebrates Warren Beatty's Academy Award-winning crime film Dick Tracy. The 1990 movie was based off of the 1930s comic strip of the same name, and not only was it directed and produced by Beatty, but he also starred in the titular role. The movie also starred Al Pacino and pop superstar Madonna, and it featured appearances by Dustin Hoffman, Charles Durning, William Forsythe, Mandy Patinkin, Catherine O'Hara, and Dick Van Dyke.

The graphics on this tee are an amazing send up of the distinct visual style that the film is remembered for. The movie earned Oscars for both its makeup and art direction, and Beatty specifically chose to use a limited palette to evoke the feel of an old school comic strip, as a nod to the source material. The prosthetic makeup of the movie's rogue gallery was also directly inspired by the original comic artwork, all save for Pacino's character, Big Boy Caprice. Pacino instead designed the makeup for his character himself, and he worked with the talented John Caglione Jr. to bring it to life. Pacino wound up so pleased with Caglione's work, that he recruited Caglione to be his personal makeup artist for all of his films.
