This sweet vintage shirt proudly declares "I survived Jurassic Park: The Ride" and it is a souvenir from Universal Studios Hollywood in California. Jurassic Park: The Ride is an exciting water-based thrill ride based off of the popular movie franchise starring Sam Neil, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldbum, and originally directed by Steven Spielberg. The ride opened to the public in the summer of 1996.

The ride replicates Isla Nublar where the movie takes place and guests are invited to take what is supposed to be a leisurely raft ride through a lagoon populated by docile herbivorous dinosaurs. Things take a turn for the terrifying however, when the raft is thrown off-course and it's revealed that several carnivorous dinos have escaped. Guests encounter Velociraptors, Dilophosauruses, and finally a massive T-Rex attack before they are sent down an 85 foot drop.

In 2018 the ride was closed for remodeling, and it opened again in 2019 to incorporate new elements from the Jurassic World films starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
