This sweet vintage soccer jersey reps for the Arsenal Football Club and #4, Patrick Vieira. This style of jersey was worn by the team during away games in the late 90s and early 2000s. It was during this era, that the Gunners won two League and FA Cup finals, one during the 1997-98 season and another for 2001-02. It was following this second double victory, that club captain Tony Adams retired, and Vieira took over the role.
Although Vieira described the position as daunting at first, he proved to be a strong leader for the Gunners. He helped the Arsenal earn two more FA cups, in 2003 and 2005, as well as another league title during the 2003-04 season. This season was also particularly exciting for the Gunners as they set a new national record. They became the first English team in over a century to go unbeaten for an entire league season.
