This rad vintage tee celebrates the NHL team, the Philadelphia Flyers, and their appearance in the 1997 Stanley Cup play-offs. The shirt features caricatures of a few star players, namely Eric Lindros, John LeClair, and Mikael Renberg. These three offensive players were called the "Legion of Doom" and they were led by Lindros who was the team captain at the time. The name came from their aggressive offensive style as well as their physically intimidating presence, with all three men being over 6' 2" and 225 pounds.

The Flyers' beat the New York Rangers in the Conference Finals series 4-1 for their first conference title in a decade. This was an extremely impressive win as the Philadelphia team was going up against some of the best players in the league, like Wayne Gretsky and Mark Messier. They then went up against the Detroit Red Wings for the National title in the first and only Stanley Cup match-up between the two teams. Unfortunately, the Flyers lost in a four-game sweep as the Red Wings won their first Stanley Cup in over 40 years. Even though they lost, Lindros ranked top in the play-offs for points scored and LeClair ranked 6th.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large.
