Every summer Canada's major cities offer up opportunities to sketch comedians to tour along the Canadian Fringe Circuit. The Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals or CAFF holds an annual lottery for performance slots, which ensures an eclectic mix of touring productions. As of 2017 CAFF consists of 33 festival members such as Vancouver Fringe Festival, Ottawa Fringe Festival, Toronto Fringe Festival, Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival, and Calgary Fringe Festival.
