This amazing vintage tee celebrates the debut solo album from the iconic rock musician Rob Zombie. The shirt is from the late 90s and it features double-sided graphics that highlight two of the tracks off his album Hellbilly Deluxe: 13 Tales of Cadaverous Cavorting Inside the Spookshow International, "Call of the Zombie" and one of his most popular hits "Living Dead Girl".
Zombie had already gained notoriety as the lead singer of the industrial metal band White Zombie, but this was his first musical endeavor after the group's breakup. The album shared a similar heavy metal sound with White Zombie's music, and fans were also delighted to see Zombie continue to take influence from his love of horror movies. Zombie even sampled several old horror films throughout the album, including Madhouse, Daughters of Darkness, and The Last House on the Left.
Hellbilly Deluxe was preceded by the release of Zombie's most successful single to date, "Dragula", which was inspired by Grandpa Munster's iconic car from the spooky sitcom the Munsters. The music video for the song became an MTV favorite, and it showed Zombie and his band jamming out in the Munster Koach.
The album also became a smash hit, selling over three million copies and solidifying Zombie as a successful solo artist. Zombie continued to release music into the 2000s and also ventured into film. His love of horror spurred him to direct several of his own movies including House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, and a remake of the classic slasher masterpiece Halloween.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. The neck of the shirt has been cut.
