This cool vintage tee promotes the Canadian rock band Rush, and it was made for their Counterparts Tour. This promotional tour was made for the band's fifteenth studio album of the same name. Counterparts was released  in the fall of 1993, and it became one of the band's highest charting albums in the US, reaching the number two spot on the Billboard 200.  

Rush first gained attention in the 70s with their prog-rock sound, and their commercial success increased throughout the 80s and 90s. For the majority of their career, the band consisted of the power trio of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart, and they are remembered for songs like "Tom Sawyer" and "Fly by Night".
