This awesome tee commemorates Indiana earning the 1976 NCAA Championship in basketball. This would be the first in a sequence of wins for the university team. Many credit the team's success to head coach, Bob Knight, who also led Indiana to two more titles, and he also trained numerous All-American and All-Big Ten players. The 1976 team became local heroes, and the roster included several future NBA players such as Bob Wilkerson, Quinn Buckner, Scott May and Kent Benson.
