This sweet vintage denim jacket is from the 80s and has been customized with a cool collection of patches for various rock bands. The jacket itself was made by Levis and it is a 70506 style with 0214 denim. The front includes two hand pockets and two button-flapped chest pockets, which feature the iconic red Levi's tab tag. The jacket has an awesome variety of patches for the bands Anthrax, Living Color, Bullet Boys, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden. The back patch on the jacket is for Metallica from their certified six time platinum album Master of Puppets. The album was released just before the band went on tour with Ozzy Osbourne and before the tragic death of their bassist Cliff Burton.
This jacket is a great example of a classic battle jacket, a style which first became popular during WWII when soldiers would collect and sew various patches onto their bomber jackets or flight suits. The practice later gained traction within the biker community before it became common among punk rockers and heavy metal heads. Battle jacket styles often vary greatly across subcultures, allowing individuals to express their unique style and interests.
Fits like a modern unisex small. There are several spots, see pics.
