This black vintage t-shirt has a double-sided design of the movie poster from The Onion Field. The movie originated as a book written by Joseph Wambaugh in 1973. Wambaugh also wrote the related screen play for the 1979 movie release directed by Harold Becker. The movie was a neo-noir crime drama starring John Savage, James Wood, Ted Danson, and Franklyn Seales. Savage and Danson played two LAPD detectives in 1963 while Woods and Seales portrayed a pair of criminals. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was met with generally positive praise. It earned James Woods a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.
