This sweet tie dye t-shirt celebrates the 1997 comedy movie, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. This outlandish film was written by Saturday Night Live alumni Mike Myers, who also starred as both the titular character, and his nemesis, Dr. Evil. Both the character and the film were inspired by Myers' love of British media from the 60s and 70s, something that the actor's late father introduced him to. The result was a movie that hilariously parodied James Bond and other British spy films of the 1960s.

The movie spawned two sequels, The Spy Who Shagged Me and Goldmember, and all three films were directed by Jay Roach. The cast of the first movie also included Elizabeth Hurley, Michael York, Mindy Sterling, Seth Green, and a sphinx cat named Ted, who portrayed Mr. Bigglesworth. Apparently Ted was quite fond of his co-star, Myers, and would sometimes delay filming by sleeping on his lap.
