This sweet vintage football jersey is for number 11 of the New York Giants, Phil Simms. This former NFL quarterback spent his entire professional career from 1979 to 1993, playing for the New York Giants. Simms was selected by the Giants during the first round of the 1979 NFL Draft and was nearly named Rookie of the Year during his inaugural season, although he wound up being the runner-up to his future teammate Ottis Anderson.

Despite this early success, Simms' first few years on the Giants were plagued with injuries and benching. Fortunes changed by the mid 80s, and Simms wound up leading the Giants through their first Championship season since the 1970 merger. The Giants defeated the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXI, and Simms was named MVP of the game. He is also credited with coining the line "I'm going to Disney World!" following a championship victory.
